This is Return of the Jedi's ending re-edited to include Commander Moff Jerjerrod's painful indecision regarding his given orders to destroy Endor. <br /> <br />Both the novel and the storybook include the Emperor's order to destroy Endor in case of the shield generator's loss. Of course <br />this was never included in any theatrical or video release, and is simply the work of myself. <br /> <br />I feel that in the spirit of George Lucas' penchant for rhyming story arcs, this new ending is appropriate upon reflection and adds more balance to the opposing forces at play. <br /> <br />To be sure, this is not meant to replace the original ending in any way, which remains a masterpiece.
